AN-12 - BANKRUPTCY HEARINGS BEFORE A REGISTRAR IN BANKRUPTCY
Chief Justice Skolrood has amended AN-12 - Bankruptcy Hearings before a Registrar in Bankruptcy. Going forward, for both remote and in-person trustee opposed discharge applications, the trustee must provide its materials to the registry in advance of the hearing no later than 4 p.m. on the business day that is one full business day before the date set for the hearing.

Welcoming Ceremony - Justice Gregory Koturbash - June 11, 2026
On Thursday, June 11, 2026, the Supreme Court of British Columbia will hold a formal ceremony to welcome The Honourable Justice Gregory Koturbash to the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
The ceremony will begin at 4:15 p.m., in Courtroom 1 of The Law Courts at Kelowna.

RETIREMENT - ASSOCIATE JUDGE SHELAGH SCARTH
The Supreme Court of British Columbia announces that Associate Judge Shelagh Scarth retired from the Supreme Court of British Columbia at Vancouver on March 27, 2026. Associate Judge Scarth was appointed as Associate Judge of the Supreme Court in 2000.
